The Rezidue Reaper is a heavy-duty, adjustable tillage attachment designed for use with a harvester's corn head. Precision-engineered to till as you harvest, the Rezidue Reaper transforms your corn head and combine into a dual-purpose machine. Built to shred residue, the Rezidue Reaper blade aligns precisely with the row of corn, cutting and tilling the root ball zone. This approach lets farmers tackle minimum tillage right from the combine -no tractor needed- while speeding up residue breakdown and improving soil fertility. The row unit also severs the crown of the root ball ahead of any tires for unmatched tire wear performance. Regardless of whether your farm employs conventional, conservation, strip, or no-till practices, the Rezidue Reaper can seamlessly integrate with your farming methods. With farmers dealing with today's vigorous corn hybrids, being forced to have a carbon retention outlook, and adopting more minimal tillage practices, managing crop residue will remain a significant challenge. This row unit provides an effective solution for managing those persistent root balls and adds increased efficiency to the farm. With the combine going over every acre, and the corn head lined up with the corn rows; managing stalks and root balls with blades turns that harvest pass into something much more valuable.

COST SAVINGS BENEFITS

  • Eliminate having to own and run a vertical tillage implement.

  • Get vertical tillage on every acre without the big price tag.

  • Reduce fuel, labor, maintenance costs and save time with fewer tillage passes.

  • Extend tire and track lifespan, reducing the need for replacement rubber.

  • No need to invest in expensive automated tractor technology for use with low task tillage applications, since the field is already tilled.

  • Potential for zone farming (growing row crops in the same zone continuously, establish perennial legume cover crops between rows); this eliminates the need for herbicides, certain fertilizers, and potential for double crop hay income.

AGRONOMIC BENEFITS

  • Cut and till crop residue with the corn head for common sense residue management, faster residue breakdown and increased fertility.

  • Boost soil biology activity by slicing root balls and mixing soil around them.

  • Sizing of residue and cutting root balls in half creates less root ball mass on top of the ground in conventionally tilled fields.

  • Faster field readiness in the spring for earlier start time of field work.

  • Increased water infiltration by cutting small seems into the soil profile.

  • Increased stand counts in no-till scenarios.

  • Optimize root ball zone management for strip-till corn on corn and no-till soybeans.

  • Environmentally friendly practice by retaining carbon in the soil and emitting less emissions with less tractor passes.

EQUIPMENT BENEFITS

  • Unmatched vertical tillage performance with the blade concentrated on the stalk row consistently, instead of running a VT at an angle.

  • Cut and weaken root ball crowns for unmatched tire wear performance on combines, tractors, sprayers, implements, semis, vehicles.

  • Compatible with most head carriers in the working position.

  • Very minimal HP requirement; 1/2 to 1 HP requirement per row unit depending on ground conditions.

  • When backing up with row units in the ground, they will roll in reverse, compared to stalk stompers that get bent backwards.

  • Minimize plugging of nutrient applicators, tillage implements and planters by sizing crop residue.

FEATURES

  • Razor Sharp Rezidue Reaper Blade has a 4.5-inch-wide footprint and cuts everything in its path. The uniquely designed blade keeps the depth at a consistent 3-inches. The blade also self-cleans by consistently hitting stalks and flows trash exceptionally well.

  • Adjustable Coulter Height: 5-position holes allow for precise height adjustment based on header height preference.

  • Impact Protection: Spring-loaded arm absorbs impacts and allows each row unit to move independently going through variable terrain.

  • Shear Pin Design: Designed with a shear pin, in case of large impacts, the pin will break away causing no harm to the unit or head.

  • Transport Mode: A pin hole design allows for the arm to be swung towards the front of the head, locking it in for plenty of clearance.

  • Sealed Bearing: Featuring an FKL IL50 sealed maintenance free bearing.

  • Lateral Adjustment: Slots allow the arm to slide left and right for optimal row alignment.
